January 2nds offers a mix of data.  Wednesday January 2nds in specific are negative, headed pretty much straight down.  January 2nds as a whole are positive on a percentage and points  basis.  Wednesdays in January are positive as are Wednesdays in general. 2nds overall are also positive.

History is likely not a large driver today given “The Cliff”.  Things will probably remain subject to headline risk through the debt ceiling resolution in a month or two.
